Where it all began

Dance Kinetics was founded in October, 2018 by Andrea (Dimmen) Taylor. She, along with her staff is committed to providing dancers with high quality training and technique in a variety of dance styles while also focusing on injury prevention. We believe knowing how to prevent and care for injuries is key in our dancer’s long and productive careers as they advance into college or the professional world. With 25 years of combined teaching experience, the Dance Kinetics staff is here to provide knowledge and training to the next generation of dancers.

Dance Kinetics started renting a studio at the Wichita Center for Performing Arts and offering 3 Ballet classes. 5 short months later we began construction with the help of Builders Inc. on our new studio space. In March of 2019 we expanded our class offerings to include tap, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. We are excited to grow and bring in new dancers each semester and watch them grow! We offer multiple performance opportunities throughout the year including 2 recitals, competitions, performances at community events and more!
